Pic is the feature debut of Tom Sullivan. Set in 1845 on the eve of the ‘Great Hunger’, the famine that claimed the lives of around one million people, the film follows a fisherman who takes in a stranger at the behest of a local priest.
Dónall Ó Héalai (Impossible Monsters) and Michael McElhatton (Game Of Thrones) lead the cast. Cúán Mac Conghail produced. It debuts in Tallinn on November 29.

Tom Sullivan has worked as an actor for over fifteen years and began writing and directing in 2010.
Since then he has directed five films, three of which he wrote. Asal (2011) and Mechanic (2013), have one the Tiernan Mc Bride award for best live action short at the Galway film festival.
He was also nominated for a Zebbie award by the Irish Writers Guild for his work on Mechanic.
Tom has received funding from TG4, the BAI and the latest film he directed, Personal Development funded by The Irish Film Board is enjoying a sucessful festival run and has recently been invited to screen at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Tom is currently working on Fir Bolg, a six part comedy Drama for TG4.
